Throughout its existence, The Perlman Music Program has found that its curriculum and philosophy achieve tangible results for its students.

Accomplishments

The continued success of The Perlman Music Program’s alumni is proof that its efforts are in fact creating the next generation of classical music leaders.

Program alumni have appeared as soloists with orchestras throughout the world, including: Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto, Vancouver, San Diego, Des Moines, Memphis, Chile, Dresden’s Statskapel, Israel Philharmonic, and Shanghai orchestras.

They have given solo recitals in cities such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Chicago, San Francisco, and Sarasota. They hold full-time orchestral positions with such well respected orchestras as the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and San Diego Symphonies.

Perhaps most impressively, virtually all of the Programs young graduates continue their studies at leading conservatories and distinguished colleges upon graduation. Last year alone, new graduates of the Summer Music School enrolled at The Cleveland Institute of Music, The Curtis Institute of Music, Harvard University, The Juilliard School, and Princeton University.

As an organization, The Perlman Music Program has been honored and featured at events such as “Live at Lincoln Center” and “The Kennedy Center Honors” and is frequently seen on PBS broadcasts of the documentary “Perlman in Shanghai”.
