life-changing for our young musicians. It's a time to delve into musical studies, surrounded by friends in an engaging and supportive environment.

These highlights from our past season remind us there’s nothing else quite like PMP, and we wouldn't be who we are without your support...

182,450 Miles Traveled

Hailing from 15 countries and 20 states, 46 young professionals attended the Chamber Music Workshop and 35 students attended the Summer Music School.

$32,634 per Summer Music School student

There's a big price tag on a seven-week program, but tuition is capped at $7,000. Also, we awarded $91,750 in scholarships averaging $3,800 per request!

Our admissions are need-blind. That means, thanks to your support, a deserving student will never be turned away due to lack of funds.

3,780 Minutes of FREE Music

Students and the community alike benefit from free Works in Progress concerts, masterclasses, outreach events, open chorus and orchestra rehearsals, and so much more!

268 Summer Benefit Guests

Thanks to record-breaking attendance at the summer benefit, PMP surpassed a significant fundraising goal...but we still have a sprint to the finish.

With just four days remaining until the close of our fiscal year, it's not toolate to make a gift and join our 2018 Honor Roll of Donors!

58 Donated Dresses

Did you know PMP has a gown closet? It came in handy for our princess themed Family Concert on Sunday, July 8!

10 Chamber Music Salon Hosts

Special thanks to Mary and Robert Blake, Linda Keen and Jonathan Brezin, Edie Landeck and Michael Coles, Ngaere Macray and David Seeler, Peconic Landing, Frank Purita and The Half Note, Richard Smith, Lisa Stamm Booher, Renée and Richard Steinberg, and Jack Lenor Larsen and LongHouse Reserve for making TEN simultaneous concerts a reality!

5 Outreach Events for Children

Our grateful thanks to our partners at Sylvester Manor Educational Farm, Shelter Island Library, Shelter Island Historical Society, and East End Arts who welcome and encourage the talents of our musicians. After all, teaching opportunities also help our students learn.

4 Violin Fest Concerts

Stella Chen, Ariel Horowitz, Luke Hsu, and Yiliang Jiang prepared for the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis with rousing recitals at camp and Peconic Landing.

1 Film Screening

The world now knows the secrets behind our success...
Still haven't seen the film?  Watch "Itzhak" at home.

A Lasting Legacy

As we close out a phenomenal summer, PMP looks ahead to the future. This fall, we'll unveil what our 25th Anniversary Season has in store for the PMP family...stay tuned!
