Annual Faculty Concert

Performance Tent, PMP Campus

Join us to celebrate a cherished summer tradition...and the return of the performance tent! PMP's inspiring master teachers present their annual concert free of charge to the community. Performers will include Rachel Calin, Catherine Cho, Kirsten Docter, Yi-Fang Huang, Ron Leonard, Sean Lee, Adam Meyer, Merry Peckham, Itzhak Perlman, Patrick Romano, John Root, Elizabeth Schumann and many others.

This concert is FREE and open to the public and will fill up quickly! We expect a large turnout, with limited seating in the tent for the general public. We suggest arriving early and bringing a beach chair and/or blanket in preparation for overflow onto the surrounding lawn.

Virtuoso Society members may email us to reserve a maximum of 2 seats.

PMP's students, fellows and faculty introduce classical music through popular songs, fun skits, and a musical fairytale. Young audience members enjoy an "instrument petting zoo", activity books, and more!

Music and Fun!
Wednesday, July 13 at 3:00 PM

Shelter Island Public Library
FREE and open to the public

Kids of all ages are invited to have fun with classical music through playful songs and stories, led by alumna Sarah Bish. Afterwards, young audience members can try a violin, viola, cello or bass at the "instrument petting zoo".

Special thanks to The Long Island Violin Shop for generously providing kid-sized instruments for our beloved "petting zoo".
