Estate Gifts

Sustain our mission with a charitable bequest

secure The future of classical music

The Perlman Music Program provides a vibrant curriculum of programs, residencies, concerts, mentorship, and educational engagement, filling more than 300 days of the year. Regardless of their financial means, the most promising young musicians from across the world have a platform to thrive, make music together, challenge each other, form life-long bonds, and transform their potential into a life-changing reality.

When you include a gift to PMP in your estate, your commitment keeps our vision strong and our future bright. You will ensure our unique educational philosophy, teaching the world’s most promising young artists how to be – simply put – good people, flourishes for generations to come. And your investment in our students will resonate far beyond their formative years at camp. Strengthened by our global community, our alumni are maturing into world-class artists, and taking the PMP philosophy with them everywhere they go.

dorothy delay society

The late Miss Dorothy DeLay was a lifelong mentor to Toby and Itzhak Perlman. As a student of Miss DeLay, Itzhak discovered the value of guiding a student’s progress through positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support. As a friend, teacher, and mentor to Toby, Miss DeLay was a driving force behind the establishment of The Perlman Music Program, and served on PMP’s Advisory Board through the crucial first few years.

Miss DeLay’s nurturing and supportive approach to teaching is emulated in everything we do at PMP.
— Toby Perlman, Founder

In recognition of Miss DeLay’s profound legacy, The Perlman Music Program established the Dorothy DeLay Society to recognize the individuals and families who designate a gift to the Program in their estate. If you choose to notify us of your gift, you will be invited to join our Dorothy DeLay Society, and receive invitations to special events throughout the year. With your approval, we would be honored to publicly recognize your commitment.

If you have any questions or would like to notify us of your gift, please contact Jess Denaro or call (212) 877-5045.
